Dave spent many hours and days off road in his Discovery scouting trails for that perfect trip. One of his best friends, Darrin Simmons, who's organizing the memorial run, was co-pilot for Dave for many years, when Dave's wife was not in the seat next to him.

Dave was Trail Master and Lead Guide on Off-Road events at Land Rover Mission Viejo, which sometimes included up to 30 vehicles. He was always relied upon to get the groups into and out of the back country without getting lost. Though he has not worked for Land Rover Mission Viejo for many years, he continued to be the Trail Master.

It just will never be the same without him.
