Chad wanted to do a snow run and I made plans to come along. After car trouble prevented him from going Craig Ludwig and I decided to check out the Sunflower mine trail. For a lot of the way the trail was how I remembered it with patches of snow increasing as we went higher up the trail. After visiting the old processing mill we proceeded to the section of the trail that winds along and through the normally dry creek bed. When we got there, it was full of water that was flowing at a decent rate. Recent floods made crawling through the rocks in that creek bed more difficult than my previous trips. The flowing water made it even more interesting. Craig did an awsome job of getting through this difficult area in his LR3. I was impressed by what that vehicle can do in the hands of a good driver.
