Table Mesa Rd. / New River Canyon

An old stand by moderate trail in north phoenix, that runs through New River Canyon. Fun to run after a rainfall. Plan on meeting at the Seven Springs campground. Please allow ample time to arrive, as the drive there is deceivingly long at 25 miles from 101 and Scottsdale Rd. Exits I-17 North of New River, returning to town.

Trail Clean Up - Sugarloaf/Sycamore

Copperstate 4 wheelers are organizing a trail clean up of the Sugarloaf/Sycamore area. Our contact is Chad Chaney, chad@copperstate4wheelers.com.

Chad has been 4-wheeling with some of AZLRO friends before and asked if we'd post trail clean up information here in hopes of recruiting some help.

The trail clean up will start at 7AM meeting at the Sugar Loaf turn off on highway 87. Copperstate has big aspirations for this cleanup and are really hoping for a big turn out as this area is in real need of attention. They have contacted other local 4x4 clubs, Tonto national forest, the Arizona States Association of 4-wheeldrive clubs, and TRAL. New information about this cleanup as it becomes available. Walnut Canyon

One of the most Scenic trips around, near superior. This is trail #57 in the Wells book. Let's meet at the Battle Axe road turn off, about 10 miles south of Superior on AZ177. This is a full day trip, plan for meals and water. This is a loop trail, exiting at the same place we entered.
