Club Moab Trip
Come join AZLRO for a variety of Moab trails over a 4-day period of off-roading. We'll start the first day on an easier trail and progress each day to more challenging trails over the 4 days. You can either camp or hotel in Moab. More details to come on vehicle requirements, travel dates, etc. There will be a hard limit of about 10 vehicles for this trip and you MUST drive a Rover, due to the video work that will be done to promote our club. First come, first serve. We'll allow more than 10 sign-ups but the first 10 to sign-up will be guaranteed spots on the trip.
11-27- Wow, didn't expect this trip to fill up this quick. With that, I better add a little "waiver" about this trip. As mentioned, we will start easier and work our way to harder trails over the 4 days. As we progress, so will the chance of damage to your Rover. Each day will bring with it bigger boulders to crawl over, bigger obstacles, and bigger chances of roll-overs if you're not careful and aren't 100% in your listening skills to your spotter. Possible damage to your Rover might include damaged or torn-off low-hanging plastic, crushed quarter panels, scraped rims and/or torn sidewalls of tires, and scraped bumpers, skid plates, and other body parts. If you like your Rover flawless, this probably isn't the best trip for you. Will this stuff happen 100% to your Rover? Probably not. Will this stuff happen to someone's Rover, almost 100% chance. Additionally, with this size of group, we will do the best we can on spotting everyone the best we can, but please keep in mind that the group will have to continue down the road to keep up a certain pace to complete the trail of the day. Bottom line......Be Warned. (and don't cry if your Rover is damaged)
The Rover's Playground. Trails abound here, and there's something for every level of driver. 4+ trails offer complex and technical challenges while some of the less challenging drives offer spectactular scenery. Worth the trip, every time.
