RRC Alpine alarm wiring

4 years 1 month ago #8374 by James Howard
The 92 RRC has an Alpine alarm with a single button remote which appears to have also been used in Hondas and BMWs of that era. Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for it? The small connector has colors that are standard lucas color codes, but the big one has non-lucas ones. They have the wire manufacturers info printed on them and look like what the electronics guys at work use on their projects. The colors are:

Yellow
Yellow/Orange
Red
Red
Green
Blue
Black
Black
Brown

I want to add a modern alarm for our upcoming trip south of the border

Hey James,

Where is the Alpine alarm located? Is it under the dash or back by the cd changer, etc?

Thanks,

Glenn

It is under the little coin tray on the dash top. If you remove the 4 screws holding that tray in you can see it.
