Chimney Rock, 2012-04-28

We couldn’t ask for better weather. There were 4 vehicles including myself 2x D1, 1x D2 and 1x LR4), where 2 drove up from Phoenix so we had a total of 7 adults and 4 children. We took off a little after 9:30am, reach lunch at the popular watering hole around 1pm and reached pavement by 4pm. Took our time and enjoyed the scenery. We only had one obstacle, which was the beginning of Steep Rocky Hill and everyone had a chance to get up on three wheels. Then stopped at Chimney Rock to do some playing around but mostly took pictures. The D2 had the most fun on the Chimney hills.
