PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY EVENT (NO GUEST PLEASE)

Lot of members have a winch installed on their vehicle and most think they're ready to get out on the trails: climb a few boulders, splash a little mud, traverse the occasional stream. Basically, you’re ready to explore the back country and otherwise have a great time. Well, if you're smart enough to go prepared with the best, you’re probably smart enough to know that to keep having a great time, you need to fully understand your winch and how to safely use it will all the various accessories. That’s exactly why the club would like to provide you with a basic understanding of your winch and teach you the basics of proper winching techniques and how to use the different type of shackles, winch extensions, pulley blocks, and other items.

This class will be held near Florence Junction and will promptly start at 8 AM and end around noon that same day.

Our instructor will be local Chad Cheney, who is a certified International 4 Wheel Drive Trainers Association instructor.  This will ensure that the training you receive is accurate and complete.

Some of you may follow Chad's page, The Right Line, which is a great organization that does some great things for the off road community.  Chad operates his group through donations, and because we'd like to help him out for helping our club out, we are asking for a voluntary in-kind donation of $25 per person attending this class, paid in person to Chad the day of the class.

This description will be updated soon with a detailed course description of everything you can expect to be covered in the half-day class.

YOU MUST BE A CURRENT MEMBER TO SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS.  NON-MEMBER SIGN UPS WILL BE DELETED.  NO GUESTS AS THERE IS A 20 PERSON LIMIT
