Kentucky Camp/Aliso Springs
This trail was the 2000 IMBA epic in Southern Arizona. It is a great adventure ride. Bring a good map, campus, detailed directions, a bike odometer, extra food and water and CB's if you have them. Do not ride this trail alone! It is a great combination of old jeep roads and single-track. The trail is a big figure eight with the Kentucky Camp set in the middle. There is water at the Kentucky Camp so refill every chance you get. There is also a creek on the southern part of the eight, so bringing iodine would not hurt. This is a combination of navigating and wild outback riding. You will not see too many people. This trail is the Arizona Trail combined with jeeps road to make a loop. You can find more information at imba.com and a map of the trail at sdmb.org. Avoid riding the trail in the summer, way too hot. Start early (it will take all day to ride) and have a detailed Map. You will get lost without a map!! Have fun!! - trails.mtbr.com
