A beautiful and scenic overland style trip beginning in mid-desert near Camp Verde and rising into the tall pines and high plains of Arizona. Don’t be surprised to see Elk roaming and other wildlife. Enjoy the views from Apache Maid lookout tower. This trail while easy can become a wild experience with any recent rains due to flooding and muddy washes.
